Nagarjuna’s Letter to a Friend: Review Program

NagarjunaNagarjuna’s Letter to A Friend: Program Review
Upcoming Visiting Teacher Program
with Lopön Barbara Ryan
Friday, November 1 – Sunday, November 3

The classic Mahayana text, Nagarjuna’s Letter to a Friend, was generously bestowed by H.E. Jetsun Khandro Rinpoche this past summer during her visit with the Ösel Ling community. These rich and powerful teachings by the great Buddhist Master Nagarjuna, given to a South Indian king in the early second century, remain timeless and priceless advice for our modern world. They present the entire fundamental teachings of the Great Vehicle, and are filled with imagery that captures the essence of the path.

This weekend program with Lopön Barbara Ryan is a wonderful opportunity to review and further explore Rinpoche’s teachings on the first 40 verses of this pith and inspiring exposition. All are welcome to attend the review, even if not in attendance for last summer’s teaching.
