Nagarjuna’s Letter to a Friend: Review (Part II)

Friday, May 1 – Sunday, May 3
Led by: Lopön Barbara Ryan

NagarjunaThe classic Mahayana text, Nagarjuna’s Letter to a Friend, was generously bestowed by H.E. Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche these past two summers during her visit with the Ösel Ling community. These rich and powerful teachings by the great Buddhist Master Nagarjuna, given to a South Indian king in the early second century, remain timeless and priceless advice for our modern world. They present the entire fundamental teachings of the Great Vehicle, and are filled with imagery that captures the essence of the path.
This weekend program with Lopön Barbara Ryan is a wonderful opportunity to review and further explore Rinpoche’s teachings on this pith and inspiring exposition. Having reviewed up through verse 20 with this past November (the paramita of diligence), we will now review of verses 21-40 (the paramita of samadhi). Rinpoche will then continue teaching on this text during her Osel Ling visit, summer 2020.

All are welcome to attend the review, even if not in attendance for previous teachings and reviews.

More information about schedule and tuition will be available in February. Registration will open in February
